MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Dear Students and Prospective Students,

Throughout history, the construction sector has played a leading role in the development of civilizations, and today it has become one of the fields where technology is used most dynamically in shaping the modern world. As the Ankara Medipol University Construction Technology Program, our primary goal is to train technical professionals who are not only equipped with technical knowledge but who have also embraced ethical values, respect the environment, and have the vision to build the smart cities of the future.

Our educational approach is built on a structure that blends theoretical depth with real-world field experience. We prepare our students for professional life as individuals with strong technical application skills who have mastered modern and traditional construction techniques as well as digital transformation processes such as computer-aided design.

As the most concrete step of this approach, we have adopted the 3+1 education model as of the 2026-2027 academic year. Under this model, our students acquire their fundamental and vocational knowledge at the university during the first three semesters. They then spend the entire fourth semester receiving Workplace Vocational Training at construction sites, building inspection firms, design offices and laboratories. As a result, by the time our graduates receive their diplomas, they will have one semester of real work experience, professional contacts in the sector, and first-hand insight into the expectations of the business world. Through this structure, which combines the discipline of the construction site with the precision of the office environment, we aim to meet the sector's need for qualified technical personnel at the highest level.

On this path, guided by the principles of "People First" and "Safe Construction," we invite all prospective students who uphold professional ethics and are open to continuous learning and development to join us in designing the future of construction together.
