Mission and Vision

Mission

As the Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry, our mission is to train qualified dentists who can respond to the needs of our country and humanity in the field of oral and dental health, guided by contemporary scientific knowledge, an evidence-based approach to clinical practice and universal ethical values. By offering a student-centred, practice-based curriculum aligned with international accreditation standards, our Faculty aims to develop our students' professional competencies, critical thinking skills and lifelong learning habits.

To this end, our Faculty conducts its undergraduate, graduate and specialty-level education and training on clinical and laboratory infrastructure equipped with the latest technologies, and regards a culture of scientific research as an integral part of its institutional structure. Among our core priorities is to create an academic environment that strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration, produces original scientific output at national and international levels, and places digital dentistry and innovative treatment approaches at the centre of its research agenda. Throughout all these processes, our most fundamental responsibility is to train dentists who respect patient rights, embrace the principles of professional ethics and act with a sense of

responsibility towards society, and to make a difference not only through the quality of the services we provide but also through the qualities of the dentists we train.

Vision

Our vision is to be a dental faculty that leads nationally and is respected and cited as a reference internationally in terms of educational quality, scientific productivity and clinical practice standards. The Ankara Medipol University Faculty of Dentistry pursues its work with the goal of becoming an influential academic institution that pioneers the scientific research that will shape the dentistry of the future, fully integrates digital technologies into its educational and clinical processes, and has a strong voice in the development of innovative treatment methods.

Within the framework of this vision, our Faculty aims to meet the standards set by international accreditation bodies, to expand its network of scientific interaction through global academic partnerships and exchange programmes, and to make original contributions to the scientific world through high-impact publications and patents. We embrace excellence in education not as an ideal but as an institutional culture that must be continuously developed, and we aim to ensure that our students graduate as individuals equipped with the knowledge, skills and capabilities to stand out not only in today's dental environment but also in that of the future. Our ultimate goal is to be a future-shaping academic institution that brings together scientific thinking, technological competence and human values to make lasting contributions to improving the oral and dental health of society.
