Audiometry

CORE PRINCIPLES AND VALUES

The core principles and values adopted by the Audiometry Program in its education, research and service processes are presented below:

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement

Education and training activities are carried out systematically based on the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle. Program outcomes, course content and practical training processes are regularly monitored, measured and evaluated. Necessary improvements are made in line with the data obtained, ensuring the sustainability of educational quality.

Student-Centered Education

A competency-based approach is adopted in educational processes, one that is grounded in students' active participation and takes individual differences in learning into account. Students are supported in developing their theoretical knowledge and practical skills and in acquiring critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Professional Ethics and Responsibility

Given the nature of healthcare services, commitment to ethical principles is regarded as a core value. The program aims to educate students to become responsible individuals who respect patient rights, uphold the principle of confidentiality and act in accordance with professional standards.

Scientific Rigor and Currency

Scientific developments and technological innovations in the field of audiometry are closely followed and integrated into the curriculum. Students are enabled to access up-to-date knowledge, embrace scientific thinking and base their professional practice on scientific foundations.

Practice-Oriented Education

Theoretical knowledge is reinforced through clinical practice. Students' professional skills are developed through laboratory work, clinical training and field experience, facilitating their adaptation to real working environments.

Stakeholder Engagement

The views and suggestions of internal and external stakeholders are valued in the development of educational processes. Program content and practices are continuously updated based on feedback from students, graduates, academic staff and sector representatives.

Accessibility and Equal Opportunity

In line with the principle of equality in education, a fair, inclusive and accessible learning environment is provided for all students. Students' full participation in the educational process is encouraged through physically, socially and academically supportive practices.

Lifelong Learning

Students are equipped with learning-to-learn skills so that they can continue their professional development after graduation. Continuing education, participation in scientific events and keeping up with professional innovations are encouraged.
