Mission and Vision

Mission

As the Ankara Medipol University Library, our mission is to meet the information needs of our students and our academic and administrative staff, to support teaching, learning and research processes, and to foster an information culture by offering user-focused services. Our core mission is to facilitate access to information, to provide a variety of resources that encourage and strengthen learning, to enhance the information skills of students and academics, and to take a leading role in research.

Vision

Our vision is to make the Ankara Medipol University Library a strong, innovative and effective information center grounded in contemporary information management principles. By offering rich, diverse and up-to-date resources for students, academics and researchers, and by keeping pace with constantly evolving technologies, we aim to contribute to education and research processes.

Values

Our library first and foremost embraces a user-focused approach. By keeping user satisfaction at the highest level, we aim to provide the best possible service to students, academic staff and researchers. Quality and effectiveness lead us to focus on the continuous evaluation and improvement of our services. The principle of diversity and access aims to provide democratic and inclusive access to information by offering a wide range of resources. Innovation and continuous improvement mean being open to technological and scientific advances and constantly developing ourselves to make our library services more effective and efficient. Collaboration and sharing aim to maintain strong communication and interaction with the university community and to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience.

Goals

The primary goal of our library is to update and diversify its collection and to continuously increase user satisfaction. By using technology effectively, we aim to make access to information easier and to respond more quickly and effectively to the needs of students and researchers. Through training programs, we plan to develop users' information skills and enable them to access information more effectively. Finally, our goals include fostering greater interaction and collaboration in order to strengthen community relations. By building a closer bond with the university community, the library aims to respond better to users' needs and to become a more effective resource for the community.
