Announcement for Students Who Fail to Successfully Complete the English Preparatory Program Within the Maximum Period (2 Years)

Pursuant to Paragraph 15 of Article 8 of the Regulation on the Principles to be Followed in Foreign Language Teaching and Teaching in a Foreign Language at Higher Education Institutions and the Directive on Foreign Language Education, Instruction, and Examinations of the School of Foreign Languages of Ankara Medipol University, students who fail to successfully complete the English Preparatory Program within the maximum period of two years will be dismissed from the program in which they are enrolled.

To avoid any loss of rights, students within this scope are advised to consider the following application and placement opportunities in accordance with the procedures and schedules announced by the relevant institutions.

1. Program Transfer Within Ankara Medipol University

If there is an equivalent program available at our University, students may apply for a program transfer in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Students wishing to apply must submit their application in person to the School of Foreign Languages Secretariat by 11 September 2026.

2. Horizontal Transfer Under the Central Placement Score (Additional Article 1)

Students who meet the requirements set forth in Additional Article 1 of Higher Education Law No. 2547 may apply for:

• Horizontal transfer quotas announced by Ankara Medipol University under the Central Placement Score (Additional Article 1), and/or
• Horizontal transfer quotas announced by other higher education institutions under the same provision.

Applications must be submitted in accordance with the application schedules, quotas, and eligibility criteria announced by the relevant institutions.

3. Central Placement by ÖSYM

In accordance with Paragraph 15 of Article 8 of the above-mentioned Regulation, ÖSYM publishes a central placement announcement for students whose enrollment has been terminated due to failure to complete the English Preparatory Program within the maximum period, enabling them to apply for higher education programs where the medium of instruction is Turkish.

Students who meet the required conditions may submit their preferences in line with the application schedule and procedures announced by ÖSYM.
