Gastronomy and Culinary Arts (English)

The Gastronomy and Culinary Arts undergraduate program has been designed with an innovative approach to train the future leaders of the field.

By providing a contemporary, scientific and high-quality education equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge across a broad spectrum, including nutrition, food science, food hygiene, new product development, food and beverage management and marketing, food culture and history, world culinary cultures and modern culinary techniques, the program trains qualified professionals for accommodation and food and beverage businesses. In doing so, it will largely meet the need for visionary chefs in all food-related fields, particularly the tourism and food service sectors.

The program also aims to address the shortage of teachers and qualified academics by training individuals with strong academic skills, while also producing entrepreneurial graduates who wish to establish their own businesses. The duration of study in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts is 4 years.
