In calculating students’ grades, the evaluation and grading system set forth in the Ankara Medipol University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, as well as the relevant Department/Program legislation, is applied. The evaluation and grading system specified in the Ankara Medipol University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, as well as the Department/Program regulations, is used to calculate the students' final grades. An absolute grading system is employed for grade calculation. The success in a course is determined by the final course grade. This grade is obtained by evaluating the student's performance throughout the semester (midterm exams, assignments, practical studies, etc.) together with the final exam. The contribution of the midterm exam to the success grade is 40%, and the contribution of the final exam is 60%. These proportions may be modified by the Senate decision; in such cases, the final exam's contribution must be at least 50% and at most 70%. The specific weight of semester-long performance and the final exam, the minimum score required in the final exam for a student to be considered successful, and the course implementation plan are announced to students by the instructor at the beginning of the semester. Students who do not attend the final exam are considered unsuccessful in that course. Raw scores obtained from examinations are converted to a scale of 100 and adapted to the grading system specified in Article 37 of the Ankara Medipol University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations to determine the final success grade. Examination results are announced in writing. The principles regarding the calculation of course grades are determined by the University Senate.Bölüm/Program Başkanı
