What is the Bologna Process?
The Bologna Process is an international cooperation initiative launched in 1999 with the aim of making the higher education systems of European countries compatible, comparable and easily understandable. Its core objective is to establish the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), thereby increasing the mobility of students and academic staff and ensuring quality assurance in education.
Within this process, which Türkiye joined in 2001, our key priorities as Ankara Medipol University are as follows:
- Student-Centred Education: Designing educational processes around students' active participation and workload.
- Transparency and Compatibility: Ensuring the international recognition of degrees through the use of the Diploma Supplement and ECTS.
- Quality Assurance: Continuously monitoring learning outcomes to keep improvement mechanisms active.
