Our aim is to protect the physical and mental health of our students and staff, provide treatment, and offer educational, awareness-raising and guidance services on health.
What Are Infirmary Services?
Infirmary services are basic health services provided to offer first aid support for health problems individuals encounter during their university life, to respond quickly to sudden illnesses, and to refer individuals to relevant healthcare institutions when necessary.
Our unit aims to create a safe and healthy university environment by providing services that protect and improve the health of our students and employees.
Our Aim
As the Ankara Medipol University Infirmary Services Unit, we aim to:
- Support our students' academic success by responding quickly and effectively to health problems they may encounter during their studies,
- Minimize the health risks our academic and administrative staff may face in the workplace and increase workforce productivity.
With the understanding that healthy individuals make a healthy institution, we aim to create a safe living environment at our university.
Our Principles
Infirmary services are provided in accordance with the following core principles:
- Confidentiality: All medical information of individuals receiving health services is kept strictly confidential. No information is shared with third parties without the individual's consent.
- Trust: Ensuring that individuals feel safe throughout the service process is essential.
- Equality: Health services are provided to all our students and staff under equal conditions.
- Ethics: We act in accordance with medical ethics and professional standards.

No fee or health insurance is required to benefit from infirmary services.
How to Apply?
To benefit from infirmary services:
- If you feel unwell, you can apply directly to our infirmary unit.
- When necessary, individuals are referred to healthcare institutions for more comprehensive treatment.
Infirmary services are available during working hours. In emergencies, priority care can be provided by contacting our unit.
Main Health Services Provided to Students:
- Minor injuries and first aid
- Assessment of sudden complaints such as fever, headache and nausea
- Medical referral when necessary
- Health check-ups and information
- Medication counseling (for over-the-counter medicines)
- Health education on lifestyle topics such as nutrition, hygiene and sleep patterns
Main Health Services Provided to Staff:
- First response to health incidents that may occur in the workplace
- Basic health checks such as blood pressure and blood sugar measurement
- Information on preventing physical discomfort caused by prolonged office work
- Health support for conditions such as fatigue and weakness
- Medical counseling and necessary referrals
