Psychological Counseling and Guidance Center
Psychological counseling is a developmental process in which individuals identify the personal (emotional or mental), social, academic or professional problems they face and receive support from experts to resolve them.
Our Aim
The Psychological Counseling and Development Unit aims to support the emotional development and enhance the cognitive awareness of students enrolled at Ankara Medipol University, as well as its academic and administrative staff, by providing psychological support for the problems they experience in their personal, social, academic and professional lives.
By focusing on the development of both our students and all staff members working at our university, we support individual and institutional growth.
Our primary goal is to provide a university environment in which our students can develop problem-solving skills to cope with the challenges they may face during university life, complete their studies as productively as possible, and get to know themselves while improving their knowledge and skills.
For our institutional development, we seek to provide a productive and efficient working environment for our academic and administrative staff.
Our Principles
The relationship between the client and the counselor is based entirely on trust and confidentiality. During the counseling process, the content of sessions and personal information are never shared with any person or institution without the client's consent. Within the framework of ethical rules, all individuals who apply to our unit have equal rights and responsibilities. All clients who apply receive psychological support with the same dedication.
