Mission and Vision
Mission
The mission of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture is to educate creative, innovative and ethically committed individuals who are equipped with contemporary knowledge and skills in the fields of art, design and gastronomy, who possess an interdisciplinary perspective and who have well-developed analytical thinking skills.
The mission of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts is to train innovative, visionary chefs committed to universal values, who integrate scientific knowledge with artistic skill in the processes of preparing, cooking, presenting and developing food. In addition to providing students with up-to-date knowledge of the industry, our programs prepare them for the sector by focusing on developing skills such as effective communication, leadership and problem solving. Ankara Medipol University adopts the Bologna Process in its undergraduate education. Furthermore, as the language of instruction in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts is 100% English, our students are awarded a blue diploma in addition to their bachelor's degree, reflecting our mission of comprehensive education. In this context, through the education provided to students, research activities and industry collaborations, the department focuses on the goal of training qualified and well-equipped individuals in the culinary arts.
The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design adopts a quality-oriented and multifaceted educational model that integrates theoretical knowledge with current professional practice through its 100% Turkish curriculum, aligned with the Bologna Process. The core educational strategy of our department is to carry the design process, which begins with the development of visual perception, abstraction and three-dimensional thinking skills, through to advanced spatial analysis. Accordingly, our primary aim is to equip students with the ability to synthesize multilayered data such as structure, materials, lighting and user needs through a holistic approach within the framework of sustainable design criteria. Built on the methodology of design thinking, this educational approach enables students to examine the relationships between users and the environment from an analytical, critical and ecological perspective. In this environment, enriched by national and international research projects, our department is committed to educating qualified interior architects who are socially responsible, innovative, open to interdisciplinary interaction, human-centered and environmentally conscious.
