MEBİS – Student Advising
Student Advising aims to help students resolve the problems they may encounter, particularly those related to their education; to guide them and provide career direction; to inform them about the opportunities offered by the University and their Faculty/School; to monitor their academic progress and offer guidance in cases of academic difficulty; and to assist them with course selection.
The MEBİS Student Advising Module Guide has been prepared to regulate the academic advising services provided to students enrolled in associate and undergraduate programs.
Overview
The automation system used by Ankara Medipol University students is MEBİS, which stands for Medipol Education Information System (Medipol Eğitim Bilgi Sistemi).
MEBİS has been designed as a modular system through which processes related to students, administrative staff and academic staff, as well as management processes, can be tracked.
Students can access the MEBİS automation system by entering their username and password. The username is the student number, and the password is initially assigned by the system as the student's Turkish ID number. Students may change their password through the system if they wish.
